The Texas High Tigers boys golf team won the district championship at the tournament in Gladewater Tuesday.
Thomas Curry won his 3rd District Championship in a row and John D Patterson finished in 3rd.
Curry led the Tigers duffers with a 2-round 143. Patterson shot a 150 over 2 rounds. The other Tiger golfers on the Tigers boys district championship team are Fox Hambleton, Kaiden Neeley and Will Davis.
Coach Huntze said the leaders of the Texas high boys team played great.
“Super proud of how both teams played performed this week,” Ryan Huntze, Texas High Tiger head golf coach said. “We seem to be peaking at the right time, can’t wait for Regionals.”
