The Pleasant Grove Hawks baseball team 10-run-ruled Paris 11-1 in 6 innings at Hawks Field Friday.

Freshman lefty Hunter Rose was the winning pitcher for PG. Rose pitched 6 inning, allowing 1-run on 4 hits, striking out 10 and walking none.

Pleasant Grove had 2 home runs. They has a solo home run by Brenton Clark and a 2-run blast by Cade Martin. Clark and Martin each have 3 home runs this season.

Hawks head coach Riley Fincher said it started on the mound

“It was a good win for us and it started on the mound with Hunter Rose,” Pleasant Grove Hawks head baseball coach Riley Fincher said. “He (Rose) threw phenomenal and filled up the strike zone and kept their hitters off balance the entire game.”

Coach Fincher said he was also happy with his team’s hitting and defense.
