
A man from Camden, Arkansas was arrested for posting a threat on social media towards Lafayette County Elementary School in Lewisville.
The suspect, 22 year old Keshawn Jamal Hawkins, was charged with Threatening to Commit an Act of Mass Violence on School Property. Authorities worked fast, with the Lewisville Police Department contacting Arkansas State Police on April 6th. Lafayette County Elementary School administration was made aware of the threat.
The suspect was arrested on April 12th, less than 24 hours after being identified as the man behind the post. Arkansas State Police said the arrest was made in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Camden Police Department.
