Hawks head coach Riley Fincher was pleased with his starting pitcher

“Hunter Rose threw exceptionally well,” Pleasant Grove Hawks head baseball coach Riley Fincher said. He (Hunter Rose) was locating his pitches well and our defense played well behind him.”

Coach Fincher said you have to take your cap off to the Ferris pitcher

“We got to him early on, he settled in and located his pitches really well,” Coach Fincher said.

Fincher said getting off to the early lead was big

“Our guys competed up there and it was big for us. It all starts at the top of the order with Brenton Clark. He did a great job leading off with a triple and then he hit a 3 run home run,  but all our guys up and down the order did a great job.”
