
The Arkansas High Razorbacks baseball team advanced to the 5A-State semifinal with a 3-2 extra inning win over the Batesville Pioneers in Marion Arkansas Saturday. The game went 10 innings with the Hogs winning it in the bottom of the 10th with a walk off RBI hit by Nate Wall.
Ty Waid pitched the first 8 innings allowing 2 runs, 11 hits, striking out 10 and allowing no walks. Scott Trumble pitched the final 2 innings allowing no runs, no hits and striking out five.
Arkansas High head baseball coach Trent Wilson was proud of his Hogs
“I can’t express how proud I am of our guys,” Coach Wilson said. “They showed a tremendous amount of toughness and determination. They found a way to win.”
Arkansas High will play Little Rock Christian in the semifinal game Sunday at 1 p.m.
