Texarkana College (TC) and Farmers Bank & Trust have joined forces again to enhance the college’s communication and community engagement.
The officials of Farmers Bank & Trust, accompanied by members of Texarkana College’s administration, faculty, and staff, gathered today at the college campus in Texarkana, Texas, to announce the bank’s sponsorship of Texarkana College’s updated digital marquee. This collaboration aims to enhance communication channels and promote academic excellence within the community.
A quick ceremony was held inside the campus’ Nelson Administration Building lobby. Texarkana College President Dr. Jason Smith, Elizabeth Anderson, Executive Director of the Farmers Bank Foundation, and Farmer’s Bank and Trust president James Bramlett discussed the new addition to campus. Dr. Smith thanked the bank for helping Texarkana College throughout the years. Anderson and Bramlett also shared some kind words, thanking TC for enriching the community. Bramlett shared that he was once a student at TC, and is grateful for the local college.
“This digital board is an important way for us to connect with our community and recruit new students, we are confident the project will make a positive impact on our communication efforts,” said Dr. Smith. Elizabeth Anderson shared this sentiment saying, “We extend our sincere gratitude for the collaboration that enables us to illuminate academic excellence and empower students to thrive, paving the way for a positive impact on Texarkana for years to come.”
The Farmers Bank Foundation’s giving priorities are to support local nonprofits that enrich the quality of life in communities where Farmers Bank & Trust customers and employees live. The foundation’s funding is made possible by the bank’s shareholders and employees across Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma.
