Pleasant Grove Lady Hawk senior Madison “MC Hammer” Carpenter and her teammates hammered Edgewood 2 sets to none (25-20, 25-20) in an early morning gold bracket game at the Tyler volleyball tournament Saturday.
Carpenter led the Lady Hawks (7-1) with 7 kills. The Lady Hawks are undefeated in the tournament.
Lady Hawks mentor Amy Collvins is excited
“We are excited to be in the top 4 of the tournament,” Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks head volleyball coach Amy Collvins said. “This is definitely one of the top tournaments in Northeast Texas.”
The Lady Hawks will play China Springs next. The first serve will be around Noon.
