The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks Volleyball team finished pool play 6-0 at the Tyler tournament with 3 more wins Friday at Tyler High Lions gym #1.
The Lady Hawks defeated Chapel Hill 2-sets-to-0 (25-11, 30-28), Tyler 2-sets-to-0 (25-16, 25-12) and Princeton 2-sets-to-1 (25-16,19-25, 25-8).
Lady Hawks coach Amy Collvins said it was good
“It’s good to go 6 and 0 in Pool Play games,” Amy Collvins, Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks Volleyball head Volleyball coach said. “We just got to keep the flow, work on our consistency and keep our errors down.”
In the Chapel Hill win, Madison Carpenter had 10 kills and 9 points served. Abby Runion had 8 points served. Lauren Stewart and Julianne Naples had 8 kills.
In the win over Princeton, Madison Carpenter had 11 kills and 7 points served while Ellis Miller had 6 blocks. Julianne Naples had 7 kills and Rylie Williams had 7 points served.
The Plesant Grove Lady Hawks play in the gold bracket Saturday at the Tyler tournament.
