The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks varsity Volleyball team split 2 matches at the Longview/White Oak Volleyball Tournament Tuesday at Lobo gym in Longview, Tx.
The Lady Hawks (10-2) defeated the Longview Lady Lobos 2 sets to none (25-21, 25-23) in their first match Tuesday. In the nightcap, The White Oak Lady Necks beat the Lady Hawks 2 sets to none (17-25, 23-25).
Lady Hawks head coach Amy Collvins said her girls weren’t focused
“Tonight we played sluggish and unfocused,” Amy Collvins, the Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks head volleyball coach said. “I’m glad we were able to beat Longview but defensively we didn’t give our self a chance in the White Oak game.”
The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks JV and 9th grade volleyball teams each won their games Tuesday in the Longview/White Oak tournament at Lobo gym.
The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks varsity volleyball team will host Atlanta Tuesday at the Hawks gym. First serve will be at 7:30 p.m. The PG versus Atlanta volelyball match wll be broadcast live on Fox Sports Texarkana 97.1 FM and 1400 AM.
