Dental Clinic site plan approval on agenda for the Texarkana Texas City Council meeting tonight.
The first meeting of the month of March for the council will begin at 6pm tonight.
Council members will consider an ordinance for site plan approval to allow a dental clinic site on part of Lots 1 & 2, Ames Acres Addition. The proposed dental clinic is located at 3424 Richmond Road. There will be a public hearing and a vote on the matter at tonight’s meeting.
There will also be public hearings on a couple of rezoning issues as well. One concerns rezoning a couple of lots in the 2600 block of McIntyre Street from Single Family-2 to Single Family-3. The other has to do with granting a Specific Use Permit to allow a double wide HUD code manufactured home on the McIntyre property.
The council will also consider another resolution. It would authorize the City Manager to enter into a contract for the Wright Patman Water Treatment Plant Modification project. It would be in an amount not to exceed $102,900.
Another resolution would authorize the City Manager to enter into a two-year contract with four additional one-year renewal options with Firmin’s Office City. It would be for office supplies.
There will also be a closed executive session so that council members can consult with the City Attorney. There also will be alloted time for comments from the public. The public is invited to attend the open portions of tonight’s meeting.
