Lecture on Gender Differences in Wages

Lecture on gender differences in wages will be presented at Texas A&M-Texarkana this Thursday March 7th.

Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Program for Learning And Community Engagement will be hosting the lecture. The event will take place on March 7 th from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. in Room 101 of the Science and Technology Building.

The lecture on gender differences in wages will be given by Dr. Godpower Okereke.

It will be free and open to the public.

Okereke is Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the university.

PLACE is a faculty-led program designed to create a community of learners comprised of A&M-Texarkana students, faculty, staff and the community at large. PLACE chooses an annual theme around which to organize a lecture series and other activities that provide focal points for learning and discussion.

This year’s theme is “Gender Issues.”
