TMZ reports Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a night club altercation with a DJ in Las Vegas.
According to TMZ, DJ Franzen walked over to say hello to the 2018 NFL rushing champion at Drai’s After Hours at The Cromwell Hotel and Casino. Elliott allegedly got aggressive with the DJ, and quarterback Dak Prescott had to play peacemaker.
TMZ says Elliott’s sources say Franzen came over and was talking negatively about the Cowboys in an attempt to provoke the former 2016 first-round pick.
Franzen is “a huge force in hip-hop,” according to TMZ, with connections to Jay-Z, T.I., and Big Sean. Drake mentioned Franzen in the songs “The Motto” and “Elevate.”
Elliott and Prescott are slated to play in the 2019 Pro Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 27.
