COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Three Brazos Valley pitchers combined on a three-hitter Tuesday at Travis Field. The Bombers won their eighth Texas Collegiate League Championship in nine years with an 8-2 win over the Texarkana Twins.

The Cinderella Twins finish the 2019 season at 24-27, but finished strong to reach the title game. They eliminated the defending champion Victoria Generals in a three-game series over the weekend.

However, the short-handed Twins used all of its starting pitchers in Victoria. Texarkana was forced to use position players on the mound against Brazos Valley (41-16). The Twins had only four of their original 14 pitchers at the end of the season.
